Training and Outreach Division
The Training and Outreach Division prepares and offers general and specialized continuing education (CEU) training courses, seminars, and webinars to Oklahoma prosecutors, tribal partners, investigators, law enforcement, coordinated community response teams, sexual assault response teams, high-risk teams, victim advocates, and key personnel. This division manages the venue negotiations, registration, event set up, sound engineering, video production, and an extensive on demand training platform. This division also requests and submits continuing education credits to several certifying agencies. Upcoming DAC training events and registration options are listed here.
The Training and Outreach Division also administers the Improving Criminal Justice Responses to Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Stalking Grant (ICJR), which is responsible for the coordination and training of the Coordinated Community Response Teams (CCR) and Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART), which consist of prosecutors, law enforcement, court personnel, victim service providers, first responders, medical personnel, and batterers intervention program providers with the objective to address changes within the criminal justice system and the community that they serve.
