Applications for Professional Engineer Licensure
PE Initial License Application Process
Applicants for Initial Licensure for Professional Engineers are NOT required to file an application with this office until such time as they have completed all education, examination, and experience requirements. Once a candidate has completed their qualifying degree and passed the Fundamental of Engineering, they may register directly with NCEES at NCEES.org to take their professional exam.

FIRM PRACTICE
If you plan to practice engineering and/or surveying services through a firm you must download the Certificate of Authorization Application and submit it along with your P.E. application.
