We have moved (April 1, 2017...yes, that long ago now).
We're still in Shepherd Mall, but we moved UPSTAIRS...
If you know where we used to be (Suite 62), we're not far from there...
From there or through Entrance "A" (the Main Entrance on 23rd Street)
you will see the stairs (or take the elevator)...go up to the 2nd floor.
At the top of the stairs, you have to go "left" and you'll pass a
WIC office (glassed in) on the right...you'll see a door marked,
"Staff Entrance" straight ahead and on the wall in big letters,
"OSBELTCA" - the next door on the left (has glass)
is our main entrance. Come on in!
If you get to a drinking fountain or public restroom,
you went just a little too far!
Our phones have not changed...
Our emails have not changed...
Just our Suite Number - now 2H.

LOOK UP AN ADMINISTRATOR...
- Verify they're licensed in Oklahoma and when
their current license expires...license number and status,
current facility, phone number...
- Later, you'll be able to see if they have
any violations and information about them...
(for now, we're still using our registry for that but
this is coming...soon...we hope...)
When you get there (following the link above)
Be certain to enter the license type (required) from the drop down menu,
and then we suggest entering "only" the last name...
(searching by multiple fields or by the license number
does not consistently yield easily-useable-results)
"Look up" TIP:
If you don't know how to spell the Administrator's Last Name,
but you know how to 'start" spelling it, for example,
maybe you don't recall if it's Thomas or Thompson,
you can enter Thom% and the system will show you
all last names that start with "Thom"
Also, if you're not finding the name you're searching for
(but you're pretty sure they're licensed)
Try % on both ends of their name or portions thereof that
you're certain about the spelling of...
such as %Thom% (no spaces) - works well,
particularly for people with hyphenated names,
especially if you're not aware of that...
A LOT of exciting things are happening...
Several Oklahoma Nursing Home Administrators have qualified!
How about the new CE Registry?
Have you heard of this yet? It's not just a rumor...
All licensees will almost have to get in on this...spread the word!
And it is, indeed, FREE!!
CE Providers will soon be uploading your CEU certificates into this program
so you're going to have a "need" to get an account to track your CEUs...
IF you are getting any NAB approved courses and want them to count.
Here's a POWERPOINT Presentation (only 7 slides)
that will help you through the process...
READ THE NOTES PAGES, TOO!
About now, you may be asking yourself,
"How can I keep up with all of this stuff that's going on?"
There's a Facebook Group (for Oklahoma Administrators and AITs)
where these topics come up and are discussed...
There IS a verification of licensed administrators and AITs before approving
membership in the group...
And NAB also has their own Facebook Group where you can also
follow and keep up with the latest "goings on" and several other
groups with long term care professionals contributing.
Attention Exam Candidates and Prospective Examinees:
In July 2017, NAB transitioned its examinations to a new structure: examinees will need to pass a 100-item Core of Knowledge exam and a 50-item line of service (LOS) module exam.
Candidates will now apply for examination eligibility through a new application system called Clarus. Applicants will be able to access the application system through the NAB website, at www.nabweb.org/examinations.
