ODOL open to public by appointment beginning Monday, June 15, 2020
During these challenging time the Oklahoma Department of Labor (“ODOL”) remains committed to “preserving, protecting, and promoting the welfare of Oklahoma wage earners” while “serving as an advocate for employees, employers, and the public.”
However, at this date many ODOL employees continue to work remotely on a rotating schedule to ensure adequate social distancing and to limit opportunities for potential exposure to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Because the ODOL’s office is not fully staffed, the public to should be aware that some services may be delayed slightly. Your understanding and patience is appreciated.
To protect against any additional spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the public is encouraged to continue to submit license applications and renewals through the ODOL’s website at www.ok.gov/odol, with payments and accompanying documentation being mailed to the respective agency program at: Oklahoma Department of Labor, 3017 N Stiles, Ste. 100, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
ODOL hopes to continue to answer public questions and concerns via email. Questions regarding licensing should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions regarding outstanding wage claims and/or general wage/benefits concerns may be emailed to email@example.com. All other concerns, involving maters over which the ODOL has jurisdiction, may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For matters requiring in-person assistance, the ODOL will be open to the public by appointment beginning Monday, June 15, 2020. Appointments will be available from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday and should be scheduled through the hyperlinks found on this page under "Related Topics."
While at the ODOL public members are encouraged to wear face coverings, avoid physical contact with others, practice social distancing of at least six (6) feet unless impractical, follow all health recommendations of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) and the Oklahoma State Department of Health (“OSDH”), and follow all applicable requirements of Governor Stitt’s “Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) Plan.”
NOTE: Any public member who is under medical quarantine; ill; exhibiting health factors consistent with exposure to COVID-19, including, but not limited to, a fever of 100.4°F/38°C or greater; or who shares a home with any person exhibiting such health factors, should NOT appear at the ODOL in-person. Any person who later discovers, after appearing at the ODOL in-person, that s/he was COVID-19 positive at the time of the visit should immediately contact the agency to report the exposure at email@example.com or (405) 521-6100.
